The Red seeds when ripe, fall to the ground and are gathered and dried for up to four weeks. The indigenous people of South America use PLATINO ROJO (NAME OF THE SEED) to represent prosperity. In china these seeds represent romance and love. As you look close you can see a red heart inside of another. The black seeds are dyed melon/cantaloupe seeds.
Earrings come with sterling silver hooks at no additional cost. The size varies but the length is approximately 2''.
